Statement to potential 2012 candidates interested in a MI NOW PAC endorsement:

NOW's support for candidates is used by its members and others who want to know a candidate's positions on issues that matter to them, like reproductive rights, equal rights for LGBT citizens, violence against women, ending racism, and others.

If you want Michigan NOW PAC's endorsement or support, please fill out the appropriate questionnaire as soon as possible. (See buttons on the right side of page) . This will give you a good idea of our issues and legislative concerns. Some questions pertain to specific legislation and may no longer be germane.

Updated questionnaires will be available early in 2012 for primary races and by September 1, 2012, for the November election. Be prepared to submit your questionnaire any questions may be answered and endorsement decisions can be made in a timely fashion.  If you require any additional information, please email the PAC Administrator at: admin-pac@michnow.org

 As an independent, non-partisan committee, NOW/PAC endorses candidates who take uncompromising stands on feminist issues -- including both women and men of any political  any political affiliation.

 Electing feminists to all levels of public office is a crucial part of NOW's advocacy for women's rights.  The MI NOW PAC endorses candidates and raises money for political campaigns and related activities. That money is put to work either through direct contributions to candidates and causes or through grassroots organizing.

 If you agree with us, that electing strong feminists to office is the best way to move our country toward equality for all people, become a member of Michigan NOW today and donate generously to our PAC."
