Michigan NOW PAC is on the Web

Candidates may now apply for endorsement on the MINOWPAC website at www.michnowpac.org  Michigan NOW PAC saved money by not doing a state wide candidate mailing.  This is a time saver for candidates, too!     In future elections, we will continue save resources and inform our members about our candidates at less cost.  Any party's candidates can easily seek our endorsement.  We can link candidates web sites to our PAC web sit as well. Please check the Michigan NOW PAC website for our endorsements. www.michnowpac.org

Our state website www.michnow.org is linked to a new web site and blog called www.michiganliberal.com. Candidates web sites can also be linked to this Newsletter.  It is a boon to our candidates.  All progressive  candidates can receive endorsements from this site as well.  Members (of the web site) can offer opinions on candidates.

Progressive Candidates may also list themselves on sites dedicated to their party's candidates.  Groups such as Maral Pro-Choice Michigan, and Planned Parenthood have web sites.

Michigan NOW is proud to join their ranks and to move into cyberspace, through the diligent efforts of our web master, Kathy Russell.

Again Thanks, Kathy

Senator Jacobs Seeks To Make Our State Senate Democratic.

State Senator Gilda Z. Jacobs has been working non-stop to raise the visibility of the Democratic Caucus.  Members Nina Abrams and Claire Colman joined her at the Zoo, as the Butterflies and Otters sought to help our Michigan NOW PAC Senate Candidates including:  Carl Williams, Glen Anderson, Sandy Lipsey, and Julie Dennis. We hope to make the State Senate   more receptive to Choice.

Her home was open to many NOW members who attended a fund-raiser for St. Senate Candidate, Andy Levin.  Andy is giving  the 13th District a surprise option for working families.  The son of Sandor Levin and the nephew of Carl Levin, he has been holding press events, walking door to door and giving the 13th District which has been assumed to be anti-choice a fresh new choice.
